Hi, I’m Ian Gould, I launched 17Plus in 1999 and since then I am heading towards 1000 pupils passes, the majority of these being first time passes.
In the past 22 years, teaching pupils to drive has brought me a lot of pleasure, there has been so much variety, including the lady who needed to learn quickly because her husband had to give up driving on medical grounds and the pupil who was off to university to study midwifery, (a full driving licence an entry condition).
One pupil was so nervous about her test, I had to arrange it with her mother so that she had no time to worry, we told her about her test only 30 minutes before and she passed!
Nothing is too much trouble, each pupil is an individual, that’s why 17Plus is constantly recommended by former pupils who recognise the value of good service and commitment.

At 17Plus we only have fully qualified instructors who have many years experience teaching in the Exeter area, all CRB checked and registered with the Driving Standards Agency.

We continually give feedback in your progress book and set regular targets to keep you up to date and informed.

We encourage you to pass your theory test as soon as possible and then book a realistic practical test date.
